Minutes of the meeting held on 09 May 2023 were read and signed as true and correct.

Election of Chairman & Vice-Chairman

• C Sellers was nominated and seconded as Chair and elected unopposed.

• L Oulsnam was nominated and seconded as Vice-Chair and elected unopposed.

Chairman’s Report

• C Sellers reported that progress during the year had been successful & progress had been made in planting new bushes and flowers around the village and further parking restrictions had been agreed with the County Council and still ongoing. She thanked the Councillors, the Clerk for all their efforts and dedication to duty.

and District Councillor Wain and County Cllr G Heath for their support to the parish council.

• The Parish Council would like to Thank the following people for their work and dedication to the village.

• Mr Bob Sellers for mowing the village & for all his hard work throughout the year to keep the village looking beautiful.

• The First Responders for their support and for checking the Defibrillator throughout the year.

• Thank you to Kelly at YHA Ilam Hall and Jo at Dovedale House for hosting our meetings throughout the year .

Financial Report

• The RFO, C Wilderspin gave details of expenditure during the financial year 2022/23

• Accounts for the year were adopted and the following were signed by the Chairperson / RFO and Clerk

• Annual Governance Statement

• Accounting Statements

• The RFO gave details of the budget for the coming year, which was approved by the Council and signed by the Chairperson / RFO and Clerk.
